About the controversy of naming abstract art: For me, anyway, it has always been easier to talk about "Quickfish", or "Peles Gold" than about "Untitled#12" or "Without Title". Clients and audiences everywhere seem to embrace the poetic nature of my titles. These sometimes whimsical names lend a certain transcendant quality to what started out as rust and peeling paint on hulls of ships.
